At eight years old this wine is now a lovely mature Tuscan wine coming into its best and should stay like this for a few years.

Four years ago a new vineyard was planted with Cabernet Franc and Syrah in a big diversification from the wines Il Piano normally produces. This year we bottled the 2019 vintage under the label Renzano and are now offering this at an introductory price as a wine to lay down for the future. After starting life in our concrete tanks it then spent 9 months in French oak. It has now been in the bottle six months. This will without a doubt become the Carlesi Zucconi flagship wine over the next few years.

Harvest
We often wish that more of you would visit Tuscany in the autumn when the olive harvest is finished and the newly pressed olive oil is available.
Fresh green in colour, bursting with flavor and a spicy kick to the back of the throat.
We have had a very good harvest this year and we think the oil is particularly good.
Bag in Box
This is a fantastic way to store your olive oil and helps ensure its high quality is maintained longer.
The cardboard box helps insulate the oil and reduce temperature fluxations. Olive oil should be kept in a cool space. Don't keep your oil by the stove! The box also keeps your oil in the dark, light causes the oil to deteriorate, hence why olive oil is always sold in dark green bottles.
The main benefit of the bag is it keeps the air out and prevents the oil from oxidising.

SHIPPING TO ENGLAND, SCOTLAND & WALES
Brexit has made shipping to England, Scotland &Wales complicated. We charge for your wine minus Italian VAT @22%. Then on arrival in England, you will need to pay UK VAT@ 20%. You will also be required to pay an administration fee. The minimum fee is £25 to approximately £40 for 3 cases of wine.
This does not apply to Northern Ireland.
